Pastor:

John Browning has been called as the new pastor of Harper Road. John is originally from the coal mining town of Logan, West Virginia. After working in the mines, he started his own gutter business. He answered God's call to preach in 1998, and after serving as assistant pastor at his church in West Virginia, he decided it was time to go to college. He moved his family and his business to Nashville to attend Free Will Baptist Bible College. While in Bible College, John served as assistant pastor of Olivet FWB Church near Clarksville, as well as running his business. In 2005, during his senior year at FWBBC, he moved to Knoxville, TN to pastor Wooddale FWB Church, while driving back to Nashville to attend college three days a week. John is married to Stephanie, and they are the proud parents of Justin, Grace, Hanna, and Jeremiah.




Carl, Cynthia, Noah, Riley

Minister of Christian Education-Youth Minister:

Carl Spruill was born in Nashville, but grew up in Waipahu, Hawaii. After graduating high school in 1998, Carl moved to Virginia to begin his college career at Liberty University. After attending Liberty for three years and working in Retail Management, Carl moved to Virginia Beach. In 2003, Carl accepted the call into ministry. While working with a church in Virginia Beach, Carl met his wife Cynthia, and they were married in July of 2005. Since then, Carl has served as the Youth and Outreach Director in Bryan, TX and was ordained as a minister in May of 2006. Carl felt that it was time to go back to college in December of 2008. He is currently attending FWBBC and on track to graduate in 2011. Carl and Cynthia are the proud parents of two boys, Noah and Keola Riley. "





Sharon & David

Minister of Music:

David Milling-originally from Alabama, David answered God's call to preach and was ordained to preach while serving in the U.S. Air Force in Myrtle Beach, SC. He came to Nashville to attend Free Will Baptist Bible College. He has pastored one church while in college, and has been serving Harper Road as music minister for nine years. He met his wife, Sharon, as he was beginning his college career, and she had just finished hers, also from FWBBC. They have two children, Caleb and Bethany.
